In February Carol Bugbee came in to take out sign permits for ATM machines at both 7-Eleven stores (one on Route 28, Centerville and one on North St., Hyannis). I spoke to Mr. Crossen, the Building Commissioner, regarding the permits for outside ATM's. He said that building permits would be required. 7-Eleven did not want to do that after being advised to by Ms Bugbee and no permits, sign or otherwise, were taken out. In April, Carol Bugbee came in and made me aware that ATM's had been installed inside the stores and no sign permits, through her, had.been applied for. April (1 st week) -I went in to inspect and advised the clerk(no name given)to have someone come 1n for a permit for the ATM. He advised me his boss would not take one out. I left. 4/18/95 -I went in again and explained our concern to the clerk(no name) and gave him a warning notice(#203). 4/25/95 - I went into the store and asked the clerk(female-no name given)for the name of the owner. She asked, "What for?" I told her for citations regarding signage in the windows for the ATM and prices. She referred to the owner who said he did not have a name and 7-Eleven had told him he did not have to give a name. He and the female clerk were both argumentative I advised them that I would be back with a police officer because I had to have a name. I left the store and went back in to let them know the officer would be coming so they would know why my car was still there. The police officer arrived. He was very polite to the owner and the clerk. The owner told the officer off. He said he did not have to comply with any request the officer made. "Who are you?" The officer remained in control and the owner and female clerk remained rude. The officer then requested Tom Geiler's office to send someone to 7-Eleven, Centerville. Not only did Tom Geiler come, he also brought Ralph Crossen. The owner finally gave his name outside of the store-but would not sign for the citations. Mr. Geiler, at that point, signed two citations to the owner who was named Chaudkrf Muhammed Mafid. I was not rude and have no intention of being rude to anyone. Crossen, Building Commissioner FROM: Gloria M. Urenas, Zoning Enforcement Officer RE: 7-Eleven Store 1149 Falmouth Road/Route 28, Centerville Attached please find my report about the 7-Eleven Store at 1149 Falmouth Road/Route 28, Centerville Q950501 A In February Carol Bugbee came in to take out sign permits for ATM machines at both 7-Eleven stores (one on Route 28, Centerville and one on North St.,Hyannis). I spoke to Mr. Crossen, the Building Commissioner, regarding the permits for outside ATM's. He said that building permits would be required. 7-Eleven did not want to do that after being advised to by Ms Bugbee and no permits, sign or otherwise, were taken out. In April, Carol Bugbee came in and made me aware that ATM's had been installed inside the stores and no sign permits, through her, had been applied for. April (1 st week) - I went in to inspect and advised the clerk(no name given)to have someone come in for a permit for the ATM. He advised me his boss would not take one out. I left. 4/18/95 - I went in again and explained our concern to the clerk(no name) and gave him a warning notice(#203). 4/25/95 - I went into the store and asked the clerk(female - no name given) for the name of the owner. I left the store and went back into let them know the officer would be coming so they would know why my car was still there. The police officer arrived. He was very polite to the owner and the clerk.
