Background and Summary
Appeal No. 2012-055 was filed by George and Kristen Williams Haseotes to completely demolish,
an existing.structure at 158 Long BeachRoad and construct a new single-family dwelling.The new
dwelling Was proposed to be elevated out of the,floodplain. No increase in lot coverage or floor
area was proposed. This application was filed concurrently with Appeal No.2012-056, a request
to demolish and rebuild the dwelling at 168 Long Beach Road. After revisions to the proposed
plans, permits for the razing and rebuilding of the dwellings were'sought as-of-right;
This application Was filed at the Town Clerk's Office and if the Office.of the Zoning Board of
Appeals on October 16, 2012. A public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals was duly
advertised and notice sent to all abutters in accordance with MGL Chapter 4W A_request dated
January 09,2013 was received from the.Petitioner's representative,Attorney hkhael`Schulz; to
withdraw the application without prejudice. The hearing was opened on November 14, 2012 and
was continued to December 12, 2012 and January 09, 2013,at which time the Board voted to
accept the request to withdraw_ the application without.prejudice. No testimony was taken on this
appeal.
Motion
Based upon the request of the Applicant's representative, a motion was duly made Wand seconded
to grant a withdrawal of Appeal No.2012-055, a request fora special,permit,in,the Craigylle
Beach District of Critical.Planning Concem, without prejudice. ;
