To summarize, we reviewed the plans for renovating and adding on to the existing residence. Given th&hature1,6f-.the existing conditions and the intent of our proposed plans you agreed that the proposed p.roject'sliould be considered a renovation, not a tear down and rebuild. As you sugge e"d,WHAA will note our conversation on the Application for Building Permit so that the Building,.Inspegtpr;will know to contact one of us with any questions. MHAA will submit the application once the Conservation Commission Order of Conditions has been received, which you agreed was the only other pertinent piece of permitting work needed to address this project. Since our meeting at the site 1 went back to survey the existing floor framing and found that the existing fastening to the,foundation and floor joist condition is not in accordance with current building code regulations. As you suggested, I shared this information with the structural engineer for the project and will submit his suggestions within our drawing package for the building permit application.
