The variances granted are as follows: Section 360-1: The soil absorption system will be located 70 feet away from a coastal bank, in lieu of the one-hundred (100)feet minimum separation distance required. These variances are granted with the following conditions: (1) No more than six (6) bedrooms maximum are authorized at this property. Dens, study rooms, offices, finished attics, sleeping lofts, and similar-type rooms are considered "bedrooms" according to the MA Department of Environmental Protection. (2) The applicant shall record a properly worded deed restriction, signed by the owner of the property, at the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds restricting the property to six (6) bedrooms maximum. A copy of the recorded deed restriction shall be submitted to the Health Agent prior to obtaining a disposal works construction permit. (3) The septic system plan shall be revised restricting the maximum number of bedrooms to six bedrooms at this property. (4) The designing engineer shall supervise the construction of the onsite sewage disposal system and shall certify in writing to the Board of Health that the system was installed in substantial compliance with the revised plans.
