Subject: Town Property 137 Wagon Lane,'Hyannis MA 02601
,Good morning,my name is Donna Passerello I live on 146 Woodland Ave,
Hyannis MA 02601. I bought my house in September 2009. I really enjoy living here in .
Hyannis MA.
} Last summer late June I believe,I hired a landscaping companyto'come in and-do a .
. yr
clean up of my back yard. I cleaned up my land and some of 139`Wagon Lane: It looked
like a dump and my back yard and deck face this property. Well, I was thrilled to clean'.
UP my yard and the mess in the back, however unknown to me till one morning when I
woke up and saw that property had been staked out did I know that my neighbor on
Wagon had called the Town of Barnstable to complain. The Town sent someone.out. He
said someone called and complained that I was using chainsaws on the property and ;
cutting down trees. He did not find I was being destructive and he also said that he
'concurred with me, the property was being used as a dump. Also, the bob cat was still
ry parked'in my'driveway when the Town came out.
I was using my money, time and manpower to fix the problem when the town was
called in to intervene. And the problem is still there. And it has recently gotten worse I
have seen animals in the area some of which I have called animal control for. There are
coyote's,raccoons and other rodents back there. All of which carry germs, disease and
possibly rabies. I myself go to Dana Farber every three months. I have young children
visiting all the time and I am thinking of sponsoring a foreign student. I would like the
property of 137 Wagon cleaned up as it I see it as a Board of Health Issue.
I have used$1200.00 of my own money already. I am hoping you have the authority
to help me out. Here are some pictures of the fences that should come down along with
other cages and debris that that are on the property 137 Wagon Lane. If there is any doubt
about what I am talking about please ask for my assistance. Please respond in writing to
my request. Thank you for your cooperation with this important matter.
Sincerely,
Donna Passerello
