Village: OSTERVILLE Assessors Map Parcel: Complaint Description: There is an open leach pit with a ladder in it at this location. Also, there are tires all over the place. This is town property. Actions Taken/Results: Tom notified building to take care of this. I stopped out there. There is a 6'x 4' pit opened,with no cover. I placed a steel refrigerator door over the whole to prevent anyone from falling into it temporarily. In the morning, Bill Robinson will go fill it in. The structure is in poor condition, I would consider demolition of the structures if possible, ASAP to prevent any hazards occurring at this location.
