Description On May 27, 1999,DBE removed one 1000 gallon UST from the above referenced address. The tank was excavated,cut open,cleaned and rendered inert.The Fire Department inspector was on site to evaluate and approve the actual tank removal. The tank appeared in good condition. There was no evidence of contamination.Hnu meter readings did not detect petroleum contamination. The tank was transported to Brockton Iron&Steel,45 Freight Street,Brockton,MA on May 29t for proper disposal. The excavation was backfilled and compacted to grade. Conclusion The above.UST has been removed in accordance with local,state and federal regulations. There has been no release of oil pursuant to 310 CMR 40.000.No further action is warranted. Please find attached a signed copy of your permit and tank yard receipt. Keep these with your records as proof of proper removal and disposal. Thank you for the opportunity to do business with you.
