To all persons deemed interested or affected by the Town of Barnstable’s Hyannis Main Street Waterfront Historic District Commission Ordinance under Chapter 112, Article III of the Code of the Town of Barnstable, you are hereby notified that a hearing is being held at Town Hall, 367 Main Street, Hyannis, MA Selectmen’s Conference Room, 2nd Floor 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Please note that this meeting will be recorded and broadcast on Channel 18 and, in accordance with MGL Chapter 30A §20, anyone taping this meeting please make their presence known. Reference A1.1, dated Aug. 3, 2022, Exhibit A. Tom Doherty clarifies that this is the final rendering, red cedar? Looks good. Chair Cheryl Powell clarifies the glass, not metal, per picture/rendering. Tom Doherty clarifies, signs, confirmation that will need a sign application. Chair Cheryl Powell asks for separate application for signage. This doesn’t include the new signs on the renderings. Chair Cheryl Powell opens up public comment. None. Chair Cheryl Powell entertains a motion for the Findings, moved by Jack Kay to find this application to be compatible with the preservation and protection of the district, signage to be held with a separate application, seconded by Tom Doherty, Vote: 367 Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 2 Jack Kay - aye Tom Doherty - aye Mark Despotopulos - aye Cheryl Powell - aye Chair Cheryl Powell entertains a motion for a Certificate of Appropriateness, moved by Mark Despotopulos to issue a COA for the application at 680 Main Street, as described in the submitted materials, with addition that a sign application be submitted separately, seconded by Jack Kay, Vote: Mark Despotopulos - aye Tom Doherty - aye Jack Kay - aye Cheryl Powell - aye New Business Kelly Borsatto – 525 South Street, Hyannis – Map 308 Parcel 162 Paint color change/window and trim repair Chair Cheryl Powell reads the email into record from Applicant, Kelly Borsatto for request for withdrawal, Exhibit B.
