I sympathize with the applicants in their effort to present an acceptable plan. It looks like they included details of
the existing historic structure in their design to maintain some historical significance.
However: The number of exceptions to zoning regulations required to accept this plan far exceeds a little bending
of the regulations.
Noncompliance with setbacks, minimum lot size and frontage, are major exceptions in themselves. Combined,
they add up to application denial.
