DaLuz, Building Commissioner RE: Councilor Gallagher Inquiry/Complaint 75 Clifton Lane, West Hyannisport A=247-156 DATE: July 27, 1993 This is an update on the complaint filed by Councilor Gallagher. Received the complaint on July 16th. An inspection was made on Saturday, July 17th. There were two automobiles in the yard - one registered and the other unregistered. No one was at home at the time of inspection so no entry was made into the fenced yard. From an observation over the fence it was obvious that some work was needed. The owner was contacted re the complaint. The car that caught fire belonged to the resident next door. This office has had several conversations with the owner and she has been on the site and chastised her tenants. According to the owner the dwelling is occupied by three (3) adults and three (3) children. There are rooms in the basement. She reports that she is cleaning the property and the last truck load was being loaded this morning, the 27th. This department has been assured that the dwelling will be available for an inspection of the interior possibly the first week of August. It is the owners intention to move into this dwelling and make it her home and she is confident that this department will not receive another complaint re 75 Clifton Lane: She plans to express her apology to each of the neighbors starting Wednesday.
