Article X Detail:
Actions Taken/Results: DS met with Captain Eldridge and COMM fire at
the boat ramp. They have notified DEP, but
DEP will not be coming. There is a small spill
(approx 2-5 gallons) of a petroleum based
product, most likely diesel or hydraulic fluid.
The small spill is on the pavement, with some
snow, and the runoff heads into Shubaels
pond. The fire department placed booms and
oil absorbent pads on the water to try and clean
up some of the sheen. It is a very minimal
sheen present. Oil-Dry was placed on the
pavement and scraped up by the fire
department. The pads and booms were
removed by the fire department. No further
action required.
