Applicant should update the details for the Bio-retenon area to add a 3 inch layer of mulch in both Bio- retenon areas per Mass Stormwater Handbook Vol2 Ch2. We no longer recommend using mulch in the bioretenon areas due to issues caused with floang and clogging and typically use a denser planng approach. This is standard pracce for most bioretenon designs these days. 2. From the same secon of the handbook all underdrains should be set in a minimum of 8” of gravel. We are looking into the gravel and will get back to you on this one. Our plans show 6” 3. Applicant should confirm there is a minimum of 2 of separaon to the ESHGW in all stormwater infiltraon BMPs. We meet the 2’ of separaon and I we will confirm and add this informaon the bioretenon details. From the same section of the handbook all underdrains should be set in a minimum of 8” of gravel. 2. Applicant should confirm there is a minimum of 2ft of separation to the ESHGW in all stormwater infiltration BMPs. Please let us know if you have any follow up questions.
