I was checking to insure that the illegal real estate sign for Decoy Realty that has been consistently re-posted on the corner of Cove and Rte 6A had in fact been removed. I was assured it would be by Sandra earlier this week and that the verbal violation notice I provided to her during our conversation would be relayed and respected. As a result, I have removed the For Sale sign today (reflecting the house number) as it was posted on public property. Please refrain from installing signs on any property other than the subject listing property. I am getting many complaints regarding this specific violation and will be required to issue tickets to either you or the property owner if the violation reoccurs. I am happy to answer any questions regarding our sign code or you may check the ordinance on our website for yourself under Chapter 240-61 Prohibited Signs and Chapter 240-63 Signs in Residential Districts.
