Dear Ralph:
Thank you for your letter of August 4, 1995 . In re-
sponse to your question to me, the gospel sign itself went up
sometime around June 14th of this year. The sign itself is
removable.
It is our intention to place new signs in the sign post
approximately once a month, although this has not yet occurred.

You will note that the construction of the sign post is such as
to allow for the removal of the existing signs in order that
different gospel messages can be placed in them.
We do not wish to do anything that would antagonize our
neighbors and would like to be a good witness to them. As I had
asked before, we would appreciate your providing us with a list
of all of the neighbors who have voiced a concern or an objection
to the sign in order that we can met with them individually to
find out what the basis of their objection is .
Would you please provide me with the names of the
neighbors at your earliest possible convenience.

Dear Ms Eubanks:
We have interviewed Mr. Luff regarding the alleged business at 142 Althea Drive in
Cummaquid and have decided further proof would be needed before we could issue
citations. If you do not agree with this decision, you have the right to appeal to the
Zoning Board of Appeals.
We are of the opinion that the sign located on Dromolan_d-Lane�is on private property but
we will have our Engineering Department survey same. If, in their opinion, it is on private
property and you find issue, you do have a right to appeal again to the Zoning Board of
Appeals.
We have no zoning ordinance prohibiting motor homes, but we will have the Engineering
Department check the new street you mentioned.
I hope this satisfies your questions. If you have any further concerns please do not
hesitate to contact me.

Dear Gloria:
This letter is to follow up our conversation of last week. There are several issues in our
neighborhood that I feel needs attention.
First: Lufts is running his business from his home. About 3 weeks ago Ken and I were
driving down Althea and he and his crew had a large dump truck pulled to the side of this
house. They were dumping the days debris. Ken stop
ped pped and told Lufts that he thought
this type of dumping�was illegal. Lufts to

s. Yesterday
at approximately 6PM(7-5-95)I was driving down Althea and there he was dumping that
big dump truck full of debris down the side of the road. (This is an everyday occurrence)
Second: The sign on Dromoland owned by Jansen is on town property. The town owns 10 feet
on either side of the road. I am requesting that this sign be removed. I find it very offensive.
(and so do many others) Do we have to petition the town to have this sign removed?
Third: At the corner of Mary Dunn Road and Althea a new house has gone up. These people
own a very large motor home. They park this thing on the side of the house and often they park
it down the hill making this all ready dangerous corner even more dangerous. I am requesting
that you advise them to move this eyesore to another location. They have also created another
"street"going up the side of the hill to park this vehicle.
Your prompt attention to these matters would be appreciated.

I have looked into your zoning complaint about the sign located on Parcel 334 008.002 located on the side
of Dromoland Lane.Unfortunately I do not agree that the sign is in violation of zoning.
If you wish to appeal this decision please contact our Planning Dept.,and they will be more than happy to
help you.
