FIRE EXTINGUISHERS SHALL BE RESTORED TC) SERVICE IMMEDIATELY BY A
LICENSED FIRE EXTINGUISHER TECHNICIAN .
2. ALL PACKING MATERIALS SUCH AS PAPER, STYROFOAM PfIICES SHALL BE
STORED IN METAL CONTAINERS AT ALL TIMES. THESE. METAL CONTAINERS SHALL
HAVE METAL COVERS AND SHALL BE KEPT IN PLACE WHEN MATERIALS ARE NOT IN
USE. STORAGE OF STYROFOAM IN UPPER AREAS AS 15 PRESENTLY BEING DONE IS
NOT ACCEPTABLE, THIS SHALL BE DONE IMMEDIATELY AS SIGiVIFICANT HAZARD
IS PRESENT WITH THE KILNS UTILIZED IN THE GLASS BLOWING PROCESS,
3, OILS AND OTHER FLAMMABLE/COMBUSTIBLES BEING STORED NEXT TO THE
BATHROOM SHALL BE CLEANED .AND REMOVED FROM THAT AREA, IF ITEMS OF
THIS TYPE ARE NECESSARY THEY SHALL BE STORED IN AN FM/UL AG ROVED
SAFETY CASINET�

OTHER DEBRIS. THIS SHALL BE CLEANED UP AND DISPOSED OF IN A PROPER
MANNER.
5. IN GENERAL, THE ESTAB_ISHMENT APPEARED VERY DISORGANIZED RELATIVE
TO COMBUSTIBLES BEING IN VARIOUS AREAS, THIS REPRESENTS CONSIDERABLE,
HAZARD AS THE KILNS FOR GLASS GLOWING IN THE BAY ARE QUITE HOT AND
ARE GAS FIRED.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF' THE BUSINESS, THE PLASTIC COVERING THE
INSULATION ON THE CEILING SHOULD SE COVERED WITH A NON—COMBUSTIBLE
SURFACE; TE: SHEET ROCK . THIS WILL ALSO BE REFERRED TO THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT. IN ADDITION , DUE. TO THE NUMBER OF KILNS, THIS DEPARTMENT
WILL REQUEST INSPECTION OF THE PROPERTY BY THE GAS INSPECTOR TO
ASSURE. ADEQUATE SAFETY IN INSTALLATION/USE OF ABOVE: MENTIONED GAS
