RE: Order To Remove Underground Fuel Storage System Located at
73 Holly Lane, Centerville.
Dear Mr. Hayes:
Soil contamination in close proximity to the underground fuel
storage tank located at 73 Holly Lane, Centerville, indicates the
possibility that the tank may be leaking, according to Charlotte
Stiefel of the Barnstable County Health and Environmental
Department.
You are directed to remove this underground fuel storage tank
within seventy-two (72) hours of this notice
You may request a hearing before the Board of Health if a written
petition requesting same is received by the Board within seven
(7) days of receipt of this order.
Failure to comply with an order of the Board of Health may result
in a fine of up to $500, each day's failure to comply with.
This order, when signed by the Director of Public Health, shall
constitute as an order of the Board of Health.
