McAndrew, W. B. Mathewson& T. J. Rypkema, Trs. C/O Roger W. Kent and Co., Inc. P. O. Box 165 Accord, MA 02018 Dear Property Owners: Based on an inspection, on September 1, 1994, of your mixed use building at 379 Iyanough Road, Hyannis, I am notifying you that this building is unsafe based on its risk of fire due to the current occupants and their business. You are hereby being notified that you have until 12:00 p.m. Monday September 5, 1994 to begin to make the building safe. In order to do this, given the fact that the uses in that building are mostly"F1" (see Section 305.2 of 780 CMR), you must take immediate steps to comply with Section 1002.9 of the Massachusetts State Building Code. This means installing a sprinkler system in the building. We have posted an unsafe structure notice on the building. This may not be removed without our permission. We will give permission to remove this notice after we are comfortable that you are making progress to install a sprinkler system or to take other measures acceptable to this office. You must contact this office as soon as you can to discuss this. Sincerely, Ralph M. Crossen Building Commissioner RMC/km cc: Lt.
