Com�eents for Incident: 94 000502 Exposure: 00 Date: 5/15/94 RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS FOR A OVER-TURNED JEEP WITH OCCUPANTS PINNED UNDER THE VEHICLE.BARNSTABLE POLICE CALLED REPORTING THE SAME. I RESPONDED IN 821 WITH FF HENNESSY AND FF OBERLANDER DRIVING. RESCUE 827 ALSO RESPONDED AT THE SAME TWE.ARRIVED ON LOCATION TO FIND AN OVER-TURNED JEEP WITH TWO MALE OCCUPANTS SITTING ON THE GROUND BESIDE THE JEEP. RESCUE 82TS CREW ATTENDED TO THESE PATIENTS.AT THIS TIME I ALSO REQUESTED A SECOND AMBULANCE-828. WE ASSISTED IN PACKAGING THE TWO PATIENTS AND ONCE THEY WERE LOADED IN THE RESCUES WE BEGAN TO SECURE THE JEEP.ALTHOUGH THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE,THERE WAS NO IMMEDIATE FIRE HAZARD. THERE WAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF GASOLINE LEAKING FROM THE FILL PORT BUT THIS SUBSIDED RATHER QUICKLY WITH NO APPRECIABLE ACCUMULATION.WHEN THE TOW TRUCK OPERATOR PULLED THE JEEP ONTO ITS SIDE,IT SPILLED APPROXIMATELY 1 GALLON OF MOTOR OIL.WE APPLIED SPEEDY-DRY TO THIS AND PICKED IT UP. IT WAS PLACED IN THE HAZARDOUS WASTE CAN AT THE STATION. 821 SECURED AT 2019 AND AT QTRS. 2023. WEATHER CONDITIONS: RAIN, MUGGY, T-55-60'F. RICHARD A.KNOWLTON •
