It's our responsibility to collect all spilled material before it reaches any surface or ground water or into any sewage drain. • The material safety data sheets (MSDS)binder is located in the white cabinet in service advisors area. • Evacuate the immediate area,if necessary. • Shut off valves,pumps; and electrical equipment as appropriate. • Remove or restrict any potential ignition source from the area if the material is flammable. • Cover or dike all existing sumps and storm drains if not already covered. • Contain the spill by use of absorbent socks/booms, and then apply appropriate absorbent material or additional absorbent socks/booms. It's our responsibility to collect all spilled material before it reachesthe surface or ground water, or into any sewage drain. The material safety data sheets (MSDS) binder is located in the safety data room off of the showroom. Evacuate the immediate area if necessary. Shut off valves,pumps, and electrical equipment as appropriate. Remove or restrict any potential ignition source from the area if the material is flammable. • Cover or dike all existing sumps and storm drains if not already covered. Contain the spill by use of absorbent socks/booms. Contact spill response firms if necessary, as listed below, to assist in those activities. Remove all absorbed material or contained liquid and package in DOT approved container.Used absorbent materials should be packaged separately from liquids. Label all containers with the type of waste and the start date of accumulation. Notify the appropriate agencies and corporate contacts as prescribed below. Once the spill has been controlled and materials collected and secured, inspect the area for cleanliness and decontaminate all equipment used in the cleanup. Replace all materials and ensure all response equipment is in good working condition. The above mentioned storage tank is not in compliance with the Town of Barnstable regulation pertaining to underground fuel storage tanks and must be removed immediately. I have enclosed tank removal information for you and also a list of licensed hazardous waste transporters for the 55 gallon fuel drum located outside the maintenance building for the golf course.
