Ost—ervilTe�lassachusetts 02655 RTN 4-18147 Dear Mr. Packard: The Horsley Witten Group(HW)has prepared the attached 120-day Immediate Response Action Status Report and supporting documentation on behalf of Mr.Richard Egan, owner of Crosby Yacht Yard. The applicable DEP Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup forms are included as attachments.and as Appendix A. . The threat of release of oil and/or hazardous materials at the Crosby Yacht Yard was orally reported to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)on December 11,2003, at 9:00 am. During the evening of December 1-0,2003,a fire occurred at,the Crosby Yacht Yard and the neighboring Oyster Harbors Marine Yard, which is located at 122 Bridge Street,Osterville,Massachusetts. In response to a Notice of Responsibility issued by DEP,HW submitted a Release Notification Form(RNF) and Immediate Response Action Plan (IRAP)to DEP on February 9,2004,on behalf of Mr. Richard Egan, owner of the-Crosby Yacht Yard. An IRA Modification Report was also submitted to DEP by HW on March 2, 2004,in response to oral comments from DEP regarding the IRAP.
