A achments: GIS Maps - 1 - pdf.pdf; GIS Map - enhanced - pdf.pdf
Kim,
The GIS Map for Tales of Cape Cod’s (TCC) property at 4044 Main St. suggests the existence of wetlands in
specific locations on the property. These markings did not reproduce when the image was printed and copied for
TCC’s Request for Determination. I am attaching two digital copies of the GIS map of 4044 Main St.
1) GIS Map - 1- pdf.pdf as saved from the Town of Barnstable web-site
2) GIS Map - enhanced - pdf.pdf
as enhanced to show the suggested wetlands
I request that GIS Map - enhanced - pdf.pdf (the second of these pdf files) be shown to the Conservation
Commission in advance of and during the presentation of Tales of Cape Cod’s Request for Determination
tomorrow afternoon.
Note to Darcy:
In presenting TCC’s RFD I will
- explain the historical significance of the property at 4044 Main St.
- represent that I met with you on July 22, 2022 to inquire about the steps necessary to obtain approval from the
Conservation Commission to clear a path connecting
Mass Audubon Long Pasture Trail System to the grave site on 4044 Main St.
- engaged Brad Hall to determine:
- whether a trail could be located from the Mass Audubon shed on Bone Hill Road to the grave site without
crossing or encroaching on a wetland
- if so, to identify the location of this potential trail
- mark the wetlands in relevant locations
- represent that I walked the property with Brad to identify and mark wetlands and locate the potential path on
January 20, 2023
- represent that Brad informed me that he discussed his findings with you and that he had marked the wetlands in
relevant locations
Many thanks,
Gene
