Good Morning Darcy,
In preparing for tonight’s mee ng for 31 Paine Avenue in Hyannis, it has come to light that the proposed deck is slightly
larger than what previously existed. As I understood it, the NOI was submi ed to replace the previously exis ng deck
within the same footprint and dimension. The new deck is within the same footprint, but 112 square feet larger. In order
to comply with your local regula ons I have prepared a mi ga on plan designed to include na ve plan ngs at a 4:1 ra o,
448 square feet total. The plan ng plan is fairly straight forward and includes conver ng a strip of exis ng lawn along the
top of the bank to a na ve buffer. I have also prepared a waiver request. Please review the a ached and let me know if
you have any ques ons.
I understand I am dropping this on you last minute…if you think it would be best to con nue the hearing to allow you and
the Commission me to review, please let me know. Otherwise, I would be happy to present the project and this
mi ga on plan to the Commission tonight.
