I am enclosing a copy of said variance for your con- venience. After this variance was granted, Mr. Wells fell victim to financial difficulties which prevented him from following through on this project last year. He is now prepared to go forward, however, your variance is due to expire on July 1, 19718. I am presently preparing to file a Notice of Intent with the Conservation Commission regarding this project, and I hereby ', request that-your variance be extended for at -least six months. We feel that the water located on the rear of this lot is perched water resulting from the higher topography of the surrounding land and could not be deemed as a pond. The wet area supports no wildlife and does not contribute any nutrients to the surrounding area. We feel that should the proposed disposal pit be located the requested 80' from the wet area there would be no threat to the environment or ecology of the surroundings, and ask that your board grant the requested variance.
