(2) The designing engineer must be on site and supervise construction of the septic system and certify in writing to the board of Health that his design has been strictly adhered to prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Compliance. (3) The building must be connected to public water. .(4) Gasoline and oil separators must be installed in all catch basins used for drainage. The Board must be furnished a written maintenance agreement with a licensed hazardous waste transporter for the cleaning of these basins. Drainage directed to a vegetated area is preferred. Since the original intent of the "330" Rule, allowing discharge of sanitary sewer not exceeding 330 gallons per acre per day was based on a three bedroom home occupied twenty-fout hours, we would ask that you consider the following: 1. Our project is scheduled to operate only eight ( 8 ) to ten ( 10 ) hours per day and will only open for six ( 6 ) days . 2 . It is the intent that this project will be built using the latest technical water-saving water closets (toilets ) , which, in turn, will greatly reduce the discharge or sanitary sewerage. -2- 3 . Our calculations that were submitted on the site drawings, dated January 29 , 1988, were based on total square foot areas, which include the thickness of all exterior walls, stairwell areas, hoist areas and unoccupied corridor areas. If we were to take credit for the above, obviously this would lower our design flow and put us well below the allowable. I think you will agree with the above analysis; and therefore, there should be no reason why a sewerage permit number cannot be obtained at this time. The sentence reading "The washing of vehicles is not authorized," is changed to read "The washing of vehicles is authorized with the following conditions: (1) The washing of vehicles outside the building is not authorized. All vehicles shall be washed within the area of a closed loop, holding, and separator system. (2) The Board must be furnished a written statement from a licensed 'hazardous waste transporter reporting disposal of waste oil and any other toxic and hazardous materials from the proposed holding tanks, at least every three (3) months. (3) You must receive approval from the Department of Environmental Quality .Engineering for the subsurface disposal of industrial waste and the proposed industrial.waste holding tanks."
