1. All work shall be in compliance with the
Massachusetts Building Code, 780 CMR, 7th ed., with
latest amendments, and alli applicable local
requirements.
F, 2. All framing lumber shall conform to the latest edition
of the AFPA "National Design Specification for Wood
'-~- Construction", and supplement "Design Values for Wood
Construction" latest ed. Maximum moisture content
shall be 19%.
3.- Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) shall be,
manufactured by Louisiana Pacific Corp. and shall be of
the following minimum grade or better. minimum
bending stress 2,950 psi, minimum shear stress of 290
psi, and minimum modulus of elasticity of 2.0 x 10"6
psi. Built—up sections shall be fastened in accordance
with manufacturer's guidelines. Installation and handling
shall be in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.

shall be grade stamped by a recognized grading agency
