I am following up concerning the Noce of Intent applicaon that was filed last week for the New England Wind 1 Connector and in response to your subsequent message to Holly Carlson Johnson of our office with regard to the dockeng and ming of the public hearing for this applicaon. As you know, the Cape Cod Commission will be reviewing this project as a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) and the Barnstable Conservaon Commission cannot issue an Order of Condions unl the Cape Cod Commission has completed this review. Because of this prerequisite, we request that the conservaon commission not open the public hearing for the New England Wind 1 Connector unl the Cape Cod Commission has completed its review of the project. Aached is a completed Form W, which waives the requirement of the Massachuses Wetlands Protecon Act and Town of Barnstable Code 237 that the conservaon commission hold a public hearing on the project within 21 days of the submial of a Noce of Intent applicaon. We will of course reach out to you for the dockeng of the public hearing at the appropriate me. Best regards.
