Hello Commissioners,
I did some research a er reading the narra ve in the NOI for Boselli. First I want to point out the first paragraph of the
narra ve men oned the pier was licensed under SE3-3396. I was confused as SE3-3396 was for a non-motorized pier. I
wnet through our records and I located file SE3-5005. The ongoing condi ons for
SE3-5005 show a sign should be placed at the pier indica ng a 21 . Montauk 150 hp with 30” dra . I a ached the DEP
Licensed plan 13563 (4 sheets) and the plan that was finally approved by the Commission labeled exhibit A and the
minutes of 8/28/12. In the complete file there was discussions between Harbormaster and the concern of a float nearby
which was why the plan was revised.
I think it is important to have the sign updated as part of the special condi ons calling out the vessel and the 30” rule.
I have copied Brian on this email as I think we need waterways comments. I also copied Chuck as I was not sure why this
informa on was not in the NOI.
