Subject: RE: NOI filing - New England Wind 1 Connector
Hi Holly,
Once we receive a NOI we should be docke ng it, as we must place it on an agenda and open the hearing in 21 days. I am
not aware of any regula on preven ng the review of this NOI as far as the Conserva on Commission is concerned. A
con nuance could be requested by the applicant a er the hearing has opened if necessary. The only other op on is that
you sign a waiver form.
We do however need a PDF version of the NOI, not a link. Please see the requirements for filing a NOI on our website.
Updated filing procedures for 2022 and the updated Submission checklist.

The Proponent will be submi ng a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) applica on to the Cape Cod Commission this
Spring. We understand the Barnstable Conserva on Commission will not be able to proceed with review of the NOI or
issuance of an Order of Condi ons un l the Cape Cod Commission has completed its review, but we are submi ng this
NOI now to enable MassDEP to issue a file number so that agency’s review of the Project may proceed.
We are commi ed to con nued work with Massachuse s, BOEM, tribal, local, and regional officials, fishermen, and other
stakeholders to maximize the benefits of this unique, mely, and important project. We look forward to discussing the
Project with you a er the Cape Cod Commission review is complete.
Thanks,
Holly
