As we discussed yesterday, a ached is the updated plan showing the prior SE# and the wetland flags (noted as #1
through #4) as we rehung in the field this morning. We also provided addi onal staking along the limit of work near the
wetland as requested.
Please confirm receipt and I’ll see you Tuesday a ernoon.

HI Ma ,
We will accept the wetland delinea on from 2018 and it should be noted on a revised plan with the SE3# and flagging
informa on. You will need to reflag the 3 closest points to the work limit line, you have labeled a SF (silt fence). The SF
line has to be clearly staked, several points as it is close proximity to the wetland and we want the contractor to see it. Do
you want to seek a con nuance?

Hi Darcy,
The wetland was delineated by Coastal Engineering. There was a three-lot subdivision approved which shows the en re
wetland area (see a ached recorded plan). This is the recorded plan referenced on our site plan and it was part of the
NOI filing for the road right-of-way reviewed under SE3-5620. It received an Order of Condi ons on 12/3/2018.
Sounds good on the addi onal row of erosion control on the steep slope.
Can you please confirm this is sufficient? I will give you a call as well.

Hi Ma ,
We reviewed your plan this morning at the agenda mee ng. In the narra ve you men oned the IVW is a previously
delineated and reviewed by this Commission. On the plan you wrote Isolated vegetated wetland per plan BK 677, PG 57.
Can you please provide the SE3# and approved plan date where the edge of the wetland was approved? This SE3# should
be indicated on your proposed plan. If it has been over 5 years ago, it will need to be delineated again and a noted added
to the plan on who flagged it and the date. If you are able to provide the plan that shows the complete wetland edge
and flagging, it should at least be reflagged in the field.
With the steep slope near the IVW a note should be placed on the plan that addi onal row of erosion control shall be
provided.
Tom reviewed your drainage design for the driveway and was comfortable with it.
I will be out of the office tomorrow and Tuesday. Ed Hoopes is covering the hearing for me.

I apologize not ge ng back to you in a mely manner. Since last week, I have been working on a tes mony with legal for
a case we have going to trial with DEP. This is my first one going this far and thank goodness it doesn’t happen very
o en. I am even further behind. Today is the first chance I have had to ge ng back to people. Anyways, I do see that the
NOI came in. Tom and I will be reviewing this on Thursday Oct. 5th agenda mee ng. I will let you know if we have any
comments.

Hi Darcy,
We are working on Bill and MaryBeths site plan for #6 Daffodil Lane, Barnstable. MaryBeth said she had met with you
and reviewed the driveway loca on. I’ve a ached our Site Plan showing the design of the driveway (wetland highlighted
in green, buffers in red):
1. We have kept the driveway as ght to the property line as possible and made it 10 wide [min width]. This
brings it through the 50 buffer but keeps it out of the wetland area.
2. We cross sloped it away from the wetlands and created a small water quality infiltra on area on the east side of
the driveway opposite side of the wetland.
3. We’ve also shown the driveway to be paved as it is a 10% grade coming down [minimized the fill slope as much as
possible]. This is to reduce/minimize erosion and sediment transport. As we’ve discussed on other projects
paving in a steep scenario like this is preferred.
4. We’ve then laid out the driveway to get it out of the 50 buffer as quickly as possible.
We’ve kept the house development completely out of conserva on jurisdic on except for a corner of the proposed pool
and pool shed. The 50 buffer is fully vegetated except where the driveway goes through it. I don’t believe there is any
mi ga on to provide. We will revegetate the driveway side slopes with buffer plan ngs.
Can you let me know your thoughts – maybe we could do a quick call or zoom. I’ll be filing this by this Friday.
