RTS funded project. It was supposed to work for fish passage and water control. Unfortunately, this does not work efficiently for either. Herring volunteers have observed it. Mass Marine and fisheries also have studied it. The pools turn into a whirl pool and does not let the herring run pass. It would likely be at the top of herring runs on cape for the most herring run through the ladder on the cape. On the NRCS radar. * Barnstable has had issues with inappropriate use of the trails and vandalism. * Barnstable has a cranberry bog on their side. The bog has been sitting for 15 years a nd likely will not be restored, but will evaluate the bog to the south. Action Items: * Circulate Minutes * Schedule a site visit * Next meeting be early morning to accommodate schedules * Schedule another meeting about 2-3 months out after site visit
