Subject: Wendy’s West Main
Ms. Brigham, I am writing as a lifelong resident of Centerville, to express my disapproval of Wendy’s fast food
restaurant franchising at the corner of Pine Street and West Main.
Our children at Barnstable High do not need another purveyor of chemically treated and genetically modified fast
food looming across the street from their campus. With our modern understanding of nutrition, we should not
tolerate the garish architecture and marketing of a international fast food chain in such close proximity to our
schools and children. Furthermore, the added traffic will overwhelm an already busy and dangerous intersection.
