Hi Anna,
My name is Tom Cobb, I am a Centerville resident at 71 Pond View Dr. I am reaching out regarding Appeal No.
2023‐010. I am unable to attend the zoning board meeting this evening and wanted to voice my concern and
opposition to the project for a few reasons:
1) I am concerned about the level of traffic on the corner of a very busy road near residential neighborhoods. I
often walk and run in this area and regularly see cars traveling at fast speeds even though it is across from the
high school.
2) I am concerned about the proximity to the high school. I know the Barnstable school district has healthy eating
initiatives and programs and having a fast food restaurant across the street doesn't align with those initiatives.
3) I'd be concerned about young people walking across the street from the high school during games or other
events.
I am happy to talk about my concerns and opposition offline and I appreciate your consideration.
