Subject:Proposed Wendy’s on West Main Street
Hello,
I am wriƟng to express my concerns about the proposed Wendy’s on West Main Street in Hyannis.
The area is not conducive to this type of business. The area is already over congested with daily traffic increased by
school traffic and the ongoing construcƟon around town.
A Wendy’s in this area will bring more unnecessary traffic at peak Ɵmes and increase traffic later in the evening in a
residenƟal area.
This will also increase the risk of accidents. The amount of accidents on West Main Street is geƫng out of hand. Just this
morning, mere blocks from the proposed locaƟon a pedestrian was hit during the morning rush. Adding more traffic to
the area for fast food will only increase the changes of accidents and potenƟal harm to residents and neighbors.
