28 Lots Hollow Road | Orleans, MA 02653 Tel:(508)255-1113 | Fax:(508)255-9477 Barnstable Conservation Commission February 5, 2024 Attn: Darcy Karle, Administrator 230 South Street Hyannis, MA 02601 RE: Revised Plan Request 979 Sea View Avenue Osterville, MA Map :090, Parcel 008 DEP File #: SE 3-5843 Dear Commission Members and Ms. Karle: On behalf of our clients, Sarah Turano Flores and TMT Realty Trust, we are submitting a Revised Plan Request for the Order of Conditions SE 3-5843, issued on 2/23/2021, for the Proposed Removal and Reconstruction of Single-Family Dwelling. The intent of this revised plan request is to seek approval to relocate an existing footpath that is located on the western side of the property to a location slightly to the south. An exhibit plan has been submitted to show the changes from the previously approved site plan. On the exhibit plan the existing footpath location is shown in a solid blue line and the proposed location in a dashed blue line. The existing footpath extends across the mitigation area onto the neighboring property to the north. The proposed 4ā-wide path would be located just south of the existing path and would access the shoreline entirely across the subject property. The proposed path would be maintained by mowing and would go between all mitigation shrubs and preexisting shrubs and trees. No vegetation removal is required to create the proposed path. The existing path would be abandoned and replanted with native shrubs. The annual monitoring report for the project would include updated observations on the condition of the replanted pathway. A representative will be available at the February 13, 2024 hearing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
