AND NOTICED A GASOLINE SMELL/TASTE TO THE WATER, AND A SMALL PATCH OF GASOLINE SLICK ON THE SURFACE BY THE SHORE..A TURTLE FROM THE WATER SMELLED LIKE GASOLINE.THERE WAS ALSO A FIRE GOING ON THE SHORE, AND WHAT APPEARED TO BE HUMAN FECES SPLATTERED ON THE PLATFORM. UNATTENDED CHILDREN JOKED ABOUT URINATING ON THE FIRE. THE PATH ON THE WAY TO THE SWING WAS ALL LITTERED WITH GARBAGE. Actions Taken/Results: V went to Micha's pond and went thru metal gate off of Pond Street. There was several garbage bags of trash to right of entrance by the road. There was evidence of a fire but no gasoline smell or evidence of a slick @ this fire. The human feces appeared to be mud. There was more garbage @ the entrance but there was evidence of littering all along the path. Vehicles can now get down to the rope swing post the 1 Health Complaints 03-Oct-01 metal gate.
