The Town of Barnstable Licensing Division is in the process of converting our applications and licenses to the
OpenGov/ViewPermit platform. Because of this transition, Junk Dealer renewals will be handled a bit
differently this year. I will be creating the application on the back end using the information from your most
recent new or renewal application. Reminder that changes cannot be made during renewal.
The deadline to submit your paperwork is Friday, March, 31, 2023!
Please follow the below steps to proceed with your renewal
(1) Email me a Certificate of Liability Insurance reflecting your General Liability and Workers’
Compensation Insurance.
a. Please reach out to your Insurance agent for this one page document.
b. Town of Barnstable, 367 Main Street, Hyannis should be listed as Certificate Holder
c. If you do not have Workers’ Compensation Insurance, please click here to complete the
Affidavit and email this to me as well

(2) Payment - Mail a check, in the amount of $50 (made payable to Town of Barnstable) to my
attention at our 367 Main Street, Hyannis office or click here to pay online by credit card (a 5% fee is
charged by the third party for credit card payments)
Lastly, please print the attached notice and be sure to post in on the premise in a conspicuous location.
