The request to maintain the understory at 4-6’ height/ undulang cut, within the corridor is a waiver from the guidelines, however I have seen the Commission approve this if this is only way to obtain a view, if not possible by limbing the lower branches of the trees. The request to remove the Russian Olive would be a special request of the Commission, however, again will most likely be granted as it is an invasive tree. The Commission approves vines to be cut by hand and pulled out of the trees and they have approved treatment of PI along a path with Rodeo which is safe to use by wetlands with an RDA. As far as view protecon, I recall when applicant proposes to plant trees, which could obstruct a neighbors exisng view along property lines, the Commission will take that into consideraon and request the neighbors work out a planng plan that everyone can live with. However, I do not recall the Commission moving a vista corridor because it is too close to the neighbors property, which I believe is your concern. As Kim menoned, you are welcome to bring up your concerns during public comment. I can not advise if you should obtain an aorney that is up to you. We will place your email into the public comment folder. What kind of data points do we need to vote against this? Environmental, financial or what? You had a hearing regarding a 299 Eel River proposed lot plan, which I objected to on the grounds that the plan would siphon water towards our property and the person who was leading the agenda simply asked everyone to quickly vote and I was ignored. Do we need a lawyer to help protect our interests or will concom do that for us? Do we simply need to object in the hearing to stop it? This is a zone that you folks have vigorously protected. Thank you.
