Re: 773 South Main Street LLC – Proposed Swimming Pool
Appeal No. 2024-001
Dear Members of the Board:
I am the Trustee of the John V. and Constance R. McManmon Personal Residence Trusts,
owner of 789 South Main Street, Centerville, the southerly abutter to 773 South Main Street. My
family and I have reviewed the most recent site plan, revised May 14, 2024, along with the
documents submitted to the Board by the Applicant’s attorney on May 15, 2024.
We appreciate the meaningful concessions made by the Applicant in this revised site plan
and the Applicant’s efforts to mitigate the impact of the pool on abutters. If the Board approves
the May 14th plan, and subject to the Applicant’s additional agreement to delay the start of work
until after October 1, 2024, we hereby withdraw our objection to the above-referenced Appeal.
We’d further request that the Board include in its special permit decision the suggested condition
that “[t]he proposed development shall represent a full build-out of the lot.”
We appreciate the time and effort of the Board and thank you for the opportunity to
engage in this process so as to continue the cordial relations with our neighbor.
