Hello Kim,
Attached are revised plans for the above referenced property.
As you know, the public hearing held on May 28th was continued to June 11th.
The revised plans are in response to the initial comments raised at the public
hearing and recent comments received by Division of Marine Fisheries.
The plans were revised to shift the proposed access stairs and dock to the center
of the frontage in response to Commission comments.
In response to DMF comments, we offer the following:
The plan was revised to adjust the separation from the bottom of the float
to substrate from 1’ to 1.5’.
No pressure treated piles are proposed.
Only two 6” x 6” posts are proposed to be installed in the salt marsh. The
area of these two posts is only 0.4 square feet.
The proposed access stairs, and dock will provide access for passive
recreational purposes. No motorized vessels are intended to use the dock.
We trust these revised plans satisfy the Conservation Commission.
We will present the revised plans at the continued public hearing.
Best Regards,
Michael J. Borselli, P.E.
