Any eroded areas should be repaired and.the disturbed areas reseeded and secured with jute netting as required. Any future pavement cracks should be sealed, and.the road resurfaced once the quality of the asphalt deteriorates to an unacceptable level of service. All utilities are to be underground.and will require minimal maintenance. The stormwater drainage system specified for the proposed subdivision has been designed in accordance with Town of Barnstable Subdivision Regulations and Engineering Department guidelines. The system utilizes deep sump hooded catch basins with secondary deep sump manholes leading to leaching trenches and pits to infiltrate the design storm on-site and to achieve the required TSS removal mandated by the State Stormwater Management Guidelines. The system has a failsafe.overflow to a natural dry kettle hole which is protected by a"no-fill" drainage easement. Maintenance should include keeping silt from the basins during installation and while there is active earthwork in the subdivision, installation of washed stone construction apron, and erosion control netting on all slopes greater than 10%. Once the site is stabilized,the filter fabric should be removed from between the frame and grates of the system. I The stormwater.management system proposed for the site requires the following regular inspection and maintenance to ensure proper operation and effectiveness, and should follow the stormwater operations and maintenance plan for the site, which includes but is not limited to the following: 1. It is recommended that the stormwater system proposed for the site be inspected annually, and sediment removed from the catch basins annually or when the sediment rises to within 24" of the outlet snorkel, whichever is sooner.
