Kelley, RLS for Lot 5A Old Jail Lane, Barnstable, MA., December 1988. Although the septic system was designed to serve a 4-bedroom house,the actual design calculations and system as constructed on said lot were sufficient for a 5-bedroom house at the time of preparation under the State Sanitary Code. Design calculations would allow five bedrooms as follows: Septic Tank: 5 bedrooms x 110 gal./day x 15% = 825 gals. Required Actual— 1500 gals.
