Civil & Environmental Engineering 2854 Cranberry Highway. East Wareham, Massachusetts 02538 Ph. 508-273-0377—Fax 508-273-0367 June 24, 2024 Town of Barnstable Conservation Commission 230 South Street Hyannis, MA 02601 RE: Notice of Intent for 6 Butler Ave, Centerville, MA Dear Sirs and Madams: Please find enclosed a Notice of Intent of the Wetlands Protection Act and Chapter 237 of the Town of Barnstable General Ordinances, accompanied by supporting drawing entitled “Proposed Site Plan” for 6 Butler Ave, Centerville, MA dated June 24, 2024, for your review and approval. The subject lot at 6 Butler Ave is 6,745+/- square feet in size and has an existing single- family home. The property falls within 100’ buffer zone of a Coastal Bank and within the 200’ riverfront area (depicted on the attached site plan). The proposed project involves the following work on the property: 1.) The construction of a second story addition within the footprint of the existing dwelling. 2.) The construction of a concrete foundation below the footprint of the existing dwelling and porch. We feel that the proposed work will create no alteration to the resource areas. Also, to ensure protection of the resource areas, an erosion control barrier is proposed to be located between the limit of the proposed work and the edge of the resource areas as shown on attached plan. Thank you for your assistance on this project. Sincerely, Samuel J. Iamele Samuel J.
