needs to be constructed on the property close to RT 6A. In the 6 months with limited
vegetation this home will be visible on 6A.
This area of RT 6A has many antique homes, Greek revivals and capes and is just beyond
the remains of the Old Barnstable County Fairgrounds.
The proposed design of the home at 56 Red Wing Lane does not have any historic features
and as proposed will not blend with the antique character of the neighborhood.
In my opinion, the design is inappropriate because it doesn’t reflect the historic nature of
the Old King’s Highway.
