Virtual Public Hearing
CAPE COD COMMISSION
A subcommittee of the Cape Cod Commission will hold a virtual public hearing on the following Project on
October 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The Project has been referred to the Cape Cod Commission as a mandatory
Development of Regional Impact (DRI) pursuant to Sections 12 & 13 of the Cape Cod Commission Act, as
amended. At the hearing, the subcommittee will hear, discuss, and assemble the record on the Project, and
may vote to make a recommendation the full Commission. The full Commission may then vote on the
Project.
Project: Quaker Road Monopole (CCC File No: 24011)
Project Applicant: Vertex Towers, LLC
Property Owner: Roman Catholic Bishop of Fall River
Project Location: 481 Quaker Rd, North Falmouth, MA 02556
Map/Parcel: Map 12, Block 05, Lot 001-010
Project Description: The applicant is proposing a new 120-foot-tall monopole for wireless cell service,
within 48 ft by 58 ft fenced compound.
Note: The hearing will be held virtually, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as amended by Chapter
2 of the Acts of 2023
The public can join and participate in the meeting using one of the following methods:

• Participants wishing to speak should click on the “Raise Hand” icon on the lower toolbar to notify the
chair.

wishing to speak should press *9 to notify the chair. It is recommended that participants access
materials in advance of the meeting.
All interested persons will have an opportunity to comment at the hearing. Written comments may also be
submitted by mail to the Cape Cod Commission, P.O. Box 226, 3225 Main St. Barnstable, MA 02630 or online
using the form located at https://capecodcommission.org/comment. The DRI application including a map
showing the location of the subject property and other project materials may be accessed for review at
www.capecodcommission.org/ccc and is also available for public inspection at the Commission’s office
during normal business hours.
