Peter Sullivan, homeowner, and Peter Appleton, contactor, were both in attendance for this item.
Peter Appleton noted that they would be constructing a one-bedroom addition with a farmer’s porch. The
materials include light grey cement board siding with asphalt roofing. Azek white trim.
Committee Discussion:
Wendy- Asked if the siding on the new addition will match the siding on the house. Peter Appleton stated
that on the current front façade is wood clapboard and the siding is wood shingles. It is the intention to
change the existing front façade to the new light grey cement board siding and shingles. Wendy commented
that the addition is appropriate for the home and blends well with the home and neighborhood.
Ryan- Agree with Wendy that this home is off the beaten path. Ryan clarified that the Azek trim would be
painted white. Asked if there is a timeline for all the materials to match. Peter Appleton clarified it would
be a couple months for it all to match.
Bett- This street is off the beaten path and the addition is appropriate. Bett asked about the depth of the
porch. Peter Appleton confirmed that the depth is 6’.
