Genna,
March 26, 2024. That's after the statue takes effect and after I return from being out of country in
February.
Thanks,
Anthony Alva, Esq.

Hi Attorney Alva,
Thank you for sending your continuance request. I have attached the 2025 ZBA hearing schedule—could you please
choose your preferred hearing date?
Once I have that date, I can fill out a time extension form for you to sign, which is what you’ll need. Fortunately, an
original signature is not required for a time extension, so the form can be returned via email. Of course, you are
welcome to come to Town Hall if you prefer!
Attending tonight’s meeting
Please note that the Board’s Rules & Regulations requires a representative to be present at a meeting when a
continuance request is made with less than 2 days notice before a meeting.
Thank you,
Genna

Subject: Request to Continue Hearing on Appeal # 2024-036 - Hyannis Series Four, LLC
Dear Zoning Board of Appeals;
As attorney for Hyannis Series Four, LLC, as per my discussion with
Building Commissioner Brian Florence yesterday afternoon and our
consensus, please remove today's Hyannis Series Four, LLC agenda item, and
accept this e-mail as a request to continue this appeal to another date.
This request is based on the Building Department's position that it shall
not pursue strict enforcement given the imminent implementation of Session
Law, Acts of 2024 Chapter 150.
3
Note, we are not withdrawing the appeal or asking for its dismissal, just
a continuance of today's hearing.
It is my understanding that I shall need to go to your office today to
execute the appropriate form. If you have any questions, feel free to
contact me at anytime at 774-521-9350
Sincerely,
Anthony Alva, Esq., 774-521-9350
