Per your request aached is the Chart, Leer from Cape Cod Fishermen Alliance, Images of some Colliers Ledge incidents and data (2020-2024) pertaining to Colliers’s incidents we were involved in. I also aached a press release we sent out regarding a call just this past summer. Since 2020; we have logged in our interoffice data base eight (8) emergency calls for service at Colliers Ledge. 90% of those calls were confirmed vessels striking colliers ledge. If I was to look back in records, I would easily find a vessel strikes probably occurring once a year from the year 2020 back. When doing a quick search, I idenfied a call and incident in 2017, 2015, 2019. The Barnstable Harbormaster strongly supports the removal of these hazards to navigaon. As you can see, this number of calls indicates that these rock structures are in fact a public safety issue. The Noces of Intent (August 2024) filed was supported by the Town of Barnstable’s Waterways Commiee. Thanks, Brian W.
